  Note	Information as per Jim Arwine (jra334@@juno.com). From the 7/14/1994 issue of the Bloomington Herald-Times. Merlin Darrell Holtsclaw, 56, of Bloomington, died Monday at Bloomington Hospital. Born September 25, 1941, he was the son of Marion Claude and Earah (Thomas) Holtsclaw. He was retired from General Electric and was a member of IBEW Local 2249. Survivors include his wife, Naomi (Terrell) Holtsclaw; two daughters, Nancy Richards and Vicki Holtsclaw, both of Bedford; one son, Darrell Holtsclaw of Solsberry; three stepsons, Kenny Terrell of Bloomington, Larry Terrell of Bloomfield, and Matthew Terrell of Columbus; one sister, Edith Armstrong of Bedford; a grandson, nine step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tealitha Sego Holtsclaw, one foster brother, six brothers and two sisters. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, Greene & Harrell Chapel, with Pastor Dan Cloud officiating. Burial will be at Gross Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
